Size and Quantity

The MuRoom® is made in a similar fashion to the MuMetal® cladding solutions, by using MuMetal® panels. However, these are joined together and supported using an Aluminium frame.

Capacity

Magnetic Shields Limited has seven fully controlled furnaces operating at our manufacturing facilities to meet the demands of our customers across the world.

Quality Control

All of our furnaces are equipped with the latest NADCAP approved, computer controlled chart recorders enabling us to provide products compliant to 21 CFR Part 11 Electronic Records and Signatures requirements.

Equipment

Magnetic Shields only recommend using pure dry hydrogen atmosphere furnaces in order to achieve the best magnetic properties.

Magnetic Exposure Limits

The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) has set guidelines for the recommended exposure limits that many countries (including the United Kingdom) follow when setting their exposure limits. These guidelines are set for the average population and cannot directly address the requirements of a minority of potentially more sensitive people (for instance people with pacemakers).
