Roles & Responsibilities
- You will work within our laser cutting department operating our CNC controlled laser cutting units to generate components to meet our customers' orders
- Most components are designed in-house therefore you will collaborate with our design department who aid the cutting layout to get the best usage from each sheet of metal processed
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a machining environment
- Have experience of Bystronics & LVD laser cutting machines or similar
- Produce various items from small, complex batches of components tolarge panels, all to high quality standards
- Experience of reading & working from engineering drawings
- Ability to work within a team to ensure deadlines are met
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working within an ISO:9001 quality system
- Be familiar with LEAN/5S principles
- Have experience in Inventor CAM or similar software
