About the Role
Due to continued growth and expansion, MSL are seeking an experienced TIG Welder, ideally used to working to high standards; you will be expected to utilise your skills in creating bespoke metal products for the customer in accordance to their specification.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Welding sheet metal of gauges 0.5 - 5mm [majority between 0.64mm - 1mm) to fine tolerances
- Materials being welded are MuMetal, stainless steel & sometimes aluminium
- Ability to work to high standards with a high level of accuracy to create a clean finish
- You must be able to work to tight deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- You must be able to read & work from engineering drawings
- Knowledge of fine limit sheet metal work would be advantageous but not essential
- You must be a team player
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Experience in utilising your skills in creating bespoke metal products for the customer in accordance to their order/ specifications
- Working with a combination of fabricated and machined components
- Minimum of 2 years experience in TIG Welding
- Experience of working within an ISO:9001 quality system is desirable but not essential
